		Ink was founded in 2003 by  Gili Dolev and producer Bob Last. A key strength is  its full time creative team led by cgi/post production supervisor Martin Gornall, supervising animator Ruaraidh Gillies and art director Alan MacEachern. Prior to founding Ink. Dolev and Last made the award winning "Promise Land" together, winner best animated film Clermont Ferrand 2003. Promise Land was sold to Arte in France and Germany, the ITC in the USA, Canal + in Scandinavia. Gili Dolev had already begun to build a reputation as an upcoming director with his student films. Bob Last has a long track record in film and other popular media. Ink. is based in Dundee Scotland, high bandwidth connections allow it to work seamlessly with clients anywhere in the globe  whilst benefitting from a lower cost base, allowing  it to bid competitively for service work and maximise the production value of its own IP.
