October 2009 The nominations for the BAFTA Scotland Awards 2009 have been announced and the short film The Happy Duckling, which was produced with the Support of ink.digital, has been nominated in the category of Animation.

Written and directed by Gili Dolev, The Happy Duckling is a 9-minute animated adventure following the antics of a reluctant young boy and the relentlessly happy duck who trails him. It features an original score by Mick Cooke of Belle and Sebastian. 

The film has already won, among others, the Best Children Animation at Stuttgart International Animation Festival in Germany.
