August 2010 Ink.digital is proud to have been a part of the team that brought Sylvain Chomet's Illusionist to the screen.
Ink's Dundee studio handled the inbetweening and scan and paint for the entire film, setting up and managing this part of the pipeline. We liaised with Django Films in Edinburgh and studios in France and Korea.
Ink's talented team also took on some clean up for the later stages of the film.
The Illusionist opened the Edinburgh International Film Festival receiving five star reviews from the Times, The Guardian, The Telegraph and Time Out. It will be released on the 20th August in the UK by Pathe. It will be at Toronto and Telluride festivals in the autumn and will be released in the USA by Sony Pictures Classics.
Currently ink.digital is working on another feature, this time for French studio Moonscoop and its managing partner Neomis. Ink is handling animation clean up and inbetweening.

April 2010 Following the creative theme used in last year’s "Elephant" campaign to promote plastic bag recycling, ink.digital has been commissioned by The Leith Agency to produce the TV spot for the Scottish Governments 'Zero Waste' recycling campaign.

January 2010 The nominations for the 2010 British Academy Film Awards have been announced, and the The Happy Duckling has been nominated in the category of Short Animation.
The film, which was written and directed by Gili Dolev and was produced with the support of ink.digital, has already won among others, the Best Animation Award 2009 from BAFTA Scotland and the Best Children Animation at Stuttgart International Animation Festival in Germany.

British Animation Awards 2010 |

January 2010 National Debtline has been selected to screen in the British Animation Awards Public Choice programme 2010.
Public Choice offers audiences a chance to see films from the nation's most talented animators, after which audiences will be asked to choose their favourite contributions. The screenings will be held at 27 different venues across the country.
