October 2010 Knife Crime has won in the category of the 'CRAFT: Use of Animation' in the Scottish Advertising Awards 2010. It has also been awarded a commendation in the category of 'DIGITAL: Viral'.
The animated viral was produced by ink.digital after being commissioned by the Leith Agency on behalf of the Scottish government, as part of it's ‘No Knives better lives' campaign.
It focuses on a group of teenagers and the consequences one faces when he encounters knife crime. It used wall-painted animation created on site at locations around Glasgow.
The ink team was lead by Vicki Haworth and Harriet Buckley with post production by Paul Anderson.
