August 2010 Ink.digital is proud to have been a part of the team that brought Sylvain Chomet's Illusionist to the screen.

Ink's Dundee studio handled the inbetweening and scan and paint for the entire film, setting up and managing this part of the pipeline. We liaised with Django Films in Edinburgh and studios in France and Korea.

Ink's talented team also took on some clean up for the later stages of the film.

The Illusionist opened the Edinburgh International Film Festival receiving five star reviews from the Times, The Guardian, The Telegraph and Time Out. It will be released on the 20th August in the UK by Pathe. It will be at Toronto festival in the autumn and will be released in the USA by Sony Pictures Classics.

Currently ink.digital is working on another feature, this time for French studio Moonscoop and its managing partner Neomis. Ink is handling animation clean up and inbetweening.
