Ink.digital along with STV Creative have produced 60 second and 30 second spots as part of the Scottish Government's 'Ready for Winter?' campaign.

The campaign aims to remind individuals and families of the risks and consequences of being underprepared for the impact of severe winter weather, as well as offering information and advice.

The campaign was created by The Leith Agency and Stripe and Storm ID and is due to run until mid-November.

The campaign, ‘A Better Way To Go’ was launched on 13th of June with the first of four 20-second television adverts (voiced by Phil Kay) for which ink.digital produced the animation.

National Debtline was Ink.digital's second commission from The Union and has since won the 'CRAFT: Use of Illustration/Animation' category at the 2009 Scottish Advertising Awards and 'The Best Use of Animation (BRONZE)' at the advertising industry's 2009 Roses Awards.

The 30 second spot uses a hybrid of Maya based 3d modelling and rendering, hand drawn and vector 2d animation. Directed by Alan MacEachern, animation supervised by Ruaraidh Gillies, digital supervision and fx by Martin Gornall. [More] [Less]
